He began his professional career after graduating from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Architecture Degree in 1970 and became licensed in 1974. Since then, Terry has been responsible for a multitude of projects including health care, k-12 schools and community colleges, worship facilities, financial institutions, commercial offices, government, and child care centers.

Jim is a Senior Project Architect and has been with the firm since 2008. Before joining our firm, he was with Thorp Associates, PC, Architects and Planners for four years after graduating from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Architecture Degree in 2004. He has been responsible for several projects including motion picture theaters, financial institutions, government, health care, k-12 schools, and worship facilities.

Cole is a Project Coordinator and has been with the firm since 2021. Before joining our firm, he worked as a summer intern for us and since then has completed his bachelor of architectural degree from Iowa State in 2022. He is currently preparing for the architectural licensing examination. Cole has been involved in government, downtown facade design, and financial institutions since joining our firm.

Mary joined the firm in 2023 as the administrative assistant. She is a graduate of the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and has experience in retail merchandising and clothing design. Before joining the team at Allers she was an administrative assistant at a home health care company. She has been active as a 4-H leader and volunteers in many activities at her local church.

Carrie has been with the firm since 2013. Carrie is a 2003 graduate of Waldorf University in Forest City, Iowa, where she majored in Communications. She has extensive experience in office management, marketing, human resources, and accounting.
